Philosophy
Toner Photography is a collaboration between my couples and my vision. As a nationally published wedding-journalist, my goal is to document your wedding day with several styles. With a background in photojournalism and contemporary/fashion/magazine style photography, I am constantly taking creative risks. My job is to tell a story, but my approach is to tell it in a way that completely reflects who you are and the unique decisive moments of your wedding day. That being said, I look for those unscripted emotions and natural expressions that describe a particular moment. From the "getting ready process" to the fine details of your dress, shoes, rings and anything else I can bring to the story. I quietly observe the day carefully mainstreaming along with it while capturing it with a creative eye. My overall style is is to focus on the unique, rather than deliver what I call "assembly line photography." My style is far from the "Traditional Genre, " rather more of an edgy, and at times chaotic appeal.

While weddings are a consistent part of my work, I do not limit myself to any particular style. I enjoy it all. Photography is a constant art in the making, and the world around me is opportunity. For me, it's how I interpret all the splendor that is waiting to be captured simply by seizing the moment.

In addition, I also enjoy giving back to my community by providing free photography coverage to special organizations. Please contact me to discuss.
